'I liked Gerald's style of teaching. It was clear, organized and without drama (a good feature). I learned more about composition, focal points, color mixing and use of a palette knife - more than before taking Gerald's Acrylic Abstract with a Painting Knife, Part 1. I also appreciated that I didn't have to go out and buy a bunch of new supplies.

'This is an ideal course for an intermediate level painter. It is satisfyingly easy to achieve a painting that looks virtually identical to the original. The step by step process allows the painting to organically reveal itself the further you proceed. I didn’t have a chunk of time to do the whole painting in one sitting, but I found I could stop at the end of any step (several times during the course) and begin again another day without it impacting the end result. The artist who teaches the course has a gentle calm nature and his instruction is clear and easy to follow. The end result is a beautiful painting with real artistic flair'
